The oldest clutch is about 2 months old and approximately 1-2 inches in size. The youngest are newborns and are approximately 1 cm in size. When these fish reach adulthood they will max out at 4-5 inches in length and are great for smaller tanks, however they also do well in medium and large tanks (I have mine in a 55G).

I have a few albino's but they are still quite small, the majority of the fish are brown in color with white spots and white tipped fins.

These fish need a minimum tank size of 15 gallons.
These fish are algae eaters and can be fed algae wafers but can be supplemented with blanched zucchini, boiled carrots, romaine lettuce and spinach.

Bristle nose pleco's are nocturnal (although can be active during the day too) and like to have a place to hide out during the day. If you are going to have more than 1, I would recommend putting a few cave-like decorations in your tank for them to hide out in.
