Spring Sale?

rlmr90 and I were chatting about ways to help bring more attention to our little community and began talking about organising a 'Spring Sale' where fellow Moms can buy a table and bring second hand items to sell and the folks advertising in our buy/sell section can bring in their product to advertise and sell.

IF this idea goes through, I'll need everyone's help to advertise and bring it all together. IF this idea goes through, the space we might use may be located at South London Community Center - but I have to get more information about that first.

Just a few idea's about what the costs included would be:
If you wanted to be apart of the sale, tables would sell for about 10 bucks, I'm thinking..

We'll have a donations box for Animal Aide, a cookies, muffins and cakes table.. second hand items table... Scentsy... I could possibly bring my tarot cards if anyone is interested in that... there's no end to the possibilities here. Please contribute if you have any idea's or would be interested in joining in!

What a great idea! I think with the right people involved, you'd certainly have the potential to up traffic on site.

I personally think this would be a great idea gives us the opportunity to reach out to moms in our community and bring them into the forum... as well as sell and buy things they could use... There is an endless list of things we can do and I think it would be cool to advertise with a poster as well as online in community centers schools that would allow it things like that... Getting more ppl involved and all being brought back to the website we could get a lot more traffic on here! :-)

So if we do this, I already have 1 table that has been spoken for. It will be a Scentsy table. 
If you think you might like a table, let me know. If we get enough interest we can probably pull this together.

the price to rent a room will be 40/hour or 60/hour so I'll be selling tables for 10 each.
